5 Parts Steak House Rub.
Very Simple. Here's how it goes. You have a fantastic cut of beautifully marbled beef and you want to cook it and enjoy the natural flavors of the meat? This is for you.
- 2 Parts Kosher Salt
- 2 Parts Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Part Granulized Garlic (not garlic salt! not garlic powder!)
Rub steaks with mixture and drizzle just a scant amount of oilve oil on them. Gently and lightly massage the olive oil into the rubbed steaks. Allow steaks to rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes without *getting to room temperature*.
Place on heated grill and cook as you normally do.
